Tree Planting Festival -
May
The festival continues to have a Grand Parade on Saturday, a Talent Show and Coronation of the Tree Planting Princesses, a Community Arts Fair, Woodfest, a Quilt Show, Mini Olympics for the young ones, Dinner Theater, a 10K Run/2.5 mile walk, a Chicken BBQ sponsored by Kiwanis, the Planting of the Trees and many more fun, festive celebratory, historical events! High Cascades Forest Volunteers Training Weekend -
May
A volunteer trail maintenance training weekend is held every year to teach volunteers proper trail maintenance techniques and provide certification for crosscut saw use and chain saw use. Oakridge Old Mill Raceway - May, June, July, August
A new Lawn Mower Ractrack opening at the old "Pope and Talbot Mill" property in Oakridge this year! Find us on Facebook for race event details and schedules. Proceeds from these races will help fund the Oakridge Fireworks show in July.

Kids Mountain Bike Day Spring
- June
Join Greater Oakridge Area Trail Stewards (GOATS), Trips for Kids - CAT, Oregon Adventures and the Fat 55 Mountain Bike Marathon for the third season of Kids Mountain Bike Oakridge! This year, we are offering two events - your family will enjoy our summer kick-off program on Sunday, June 9, and, we'll close out the season on Sunday, September 15, following the Fat 55 Mountain Bike Marathon. Kids will learn new skills, including how to position their bodies correctly and balance their bikes with confidence while navigating trail and obstacles, gauging speed, tight turns and corners. Afternoon shuttle rides are expected to include Flat Creek, Aubrey Mountain, Larison Rock and Alpine Trail. We will also offer guided rides starting  from Greenwaters Park to Diamond View Pump Track and Salmon Creek Trail. Go to http://www.oakridgegoats.org/youth for more information.

Dam Marathon - June
"One of the most beautiful Health events in the world!" A full and a half Marathon around beautiful Hills Creek Damn Oakridge.The first mile is trail that crosses the river through a tall tree forest the second is gravel road along the river, the 3rd mile is pavement uphill climbs the road along the dam, then pavement 3.5 miles along the Dam with views of the Lake, Coves and Forest. Concerts in the Park - June, July, August, September
Multiple concerts at Greenwaters Park on the weekends throughout the summer. Please check the website for details! The July Concert in 2014 was a Blues, Brews and Cruise event with a car show, and music. A great outdoor event for the community and visitors are welcome! Pioneer Picnic - July
The Oakridge Pioneer Museum hosts the Annual Pioneer Picnic at the Greenwaters Park Pavillion every year in July, however - in 2014 the event will be held at the WAC on School Street - Celebrating the people of Oakridge, the Museum makes every effort to invite as many pioneer families and their descendants as they are able to track down! All Museum members and their guests as well as local residents are also welcome to attend. Entertainment has included local historical plays, the local fiddle club,  local musical bands, and storytelling by local authors. The 2014 event is scheduled for July 13th, potluck style for lunch. 4th of July Fireworks
- July 4th
Hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages available for purchase, or people can bring their own picnic. No outside alcohol. Music includes a DJ, karaoke, and the local band Backfire. Plus a tie-dye booth. Events location and times to be announced locally. This year will be the first annual Lawnmower Race at the Industrial park, a fun family event to watch or participate in. Mountain Bike Oregon - July and August
Three full days of mountain biking in Oakridge, Oregon will leave you both exhausted and replenished. Giant old growth trees, lush ferns, creeks, waterfalls, and mountain meadows full of wildflowers make for some of the most beautiful singletrack around. Keg and Cask Festival - August
The Oakridge Keg & Cask Festival is an annual event in Oakridge, Oregon and is a fundraiser for several local nonprofits including the Local Food Box (UWCDC), Chamber of Commerce, Greater Oakridge Area Trail Stewards (GOATS), and the Uptown Business & Revitalization Association (UBRA).

Cascade Cream Puff

The course will again feature a 50 and 100 mile option this year, and the award ceremonies will be split, with the CCP50 taking place earlier in the day. Whether you are an aspiring athlete, or a professional endorphin junkie, CCP is opening the door for more participants to compete on some of the finest singletrack in the Pacific Northwest. Haunted Bridge Event - October
Saturday, October  from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the covered bridge in Westfir. Music, food, hay rides, maze, and more! Lots of fun for the whole family! Find us on Facebook for more information.

Bridge Lighting - December
Watch the bridge lighting with the community in Westfir and enjoy caroling and cocoa with your friends and neighbors. Entertainment and Facepainting for the kids.

Oakrdge-WestfirTree Lighting Festival

Celebrate the holidays with the annual Tree Lighting Festival. Enjoy carolling, holiday snacks, hay rides, and a gift giveaway as well! Located on East First in Uptown Oakridge.

Sugar Plum Festival
-December
Celebrate the holidays with a local area craft show featuring the guest artists and their fabulous wares. Food and drinks will be available as well. Fun for all-ages! Located at teh oakridge Elementary School in the Gym.
